August 3, 2015 – XLerant Inc., a leading solution provider of cloud-based budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for organizations, today announced the promotion of Joanne E. Brunn to the role of chief executive officer.

Brunn brings a strong background in human sciences to XLerant and has held a wide range of leadership roles since joining the company in 2010. Most recently, she served as the company’s executive vice president of client services and product development where she focused on growing the client services organization and developing a solution custom-fit to client needs.

“Joanne has done an outstanding job with the XLerant client community, which led to the company being named the “One to Watch” from BPM Partners,” said Jim Perakis, chairman of XLerant’s board of directors. “With her strong leadership background and a solid understanding of the dynamics of small- and mid-sized businesses, Joanne has made major contributions to product direction, and helped to increase customer satisfaction through an intuitive, flexible and easy-to-use platform. We’re confident in Joanne’s ability to grow the company.”

“I’m honored to lead XLerant’s expert team as we continue to expand our products and services and engage users at all levels to help business achieve their strategic financial objectives,” said Brunn. “The intuitive design of our premier product, BudgetPak, gives non-financial users the ability to work the process in a dynamic environment without the angst typically associated with budgeting. At XLerant, we are dedicated to providing solutions that give people time to do what they love to do—create innovative products, teach students, serve their community–while still taking ownership of their budgets.”

Prior to joining XLerant, Brunn managed startup departments at Hyperion Solutions, Citicorp, Chemical Bank and LEGO. She also founded a consultancy focused on systemic organizational change and tactical technology initiatives. In that role, Brunn oversaw enterprise innovation programs for Pitney Bowes and Verizon.
