Located from coast to coast, these institutions selected XLerant’s BudgetPak solution to replace their manual and time-intensive Excel-based budgeting processes.

These customers use a variety of different ERP systems -Banner, Datatel (Colleague), Jenzabar, and others – but all were in need of a better solution to Excel-based budgeting.”
This is a continuation of two trends in higher education. The first is that, due to increased pressure on financial performance, higher education is now treating budgeting as “mission critical.” Excel no longer can deal with the realities of needs of higher education. The second trend is that higher education is now trying to budget to the institution strategy versus history or politics. So the demands are greater for better participation and ownership as well as documentation and justification.
